Caterina is a director, actor, educator and translator from Milan, Italy. She is committed to using theatre to center marginalized groups and narratives, particularly female and queer voices
She has collaborated with companies including Page 73, The Habitat, Biennale di Venezia, NYMadness, Shotz! Amios, Theatre East, Modern Shakespeare Project, Match: Lit, the Stella Adler Studio. She has toured across the United States and Italy with Kairos Italy Theatre’s play The Worth of Women.
Caterina has served as an artistic and community collaborator with the Inheritance Theatre Project on Preparation’s Aftermath, Tribalism (New York), Exodus: Resettlement (Omaha, NE), Exodus: Homecoming (Coastal Virginia).
She created and directed the documentary Mario together with Andrea Bagnasco. The movie was presented at CinemAmbiente Festival in 2021 and won Best Documentary at Moviemmece Festival in 2022, in Naples.
She is a member of the SDCF 2018 Observership Class. She received her BFA in Theatre from NYU Tisch, Stella Adler & RADA.
